Hello friends and fellow fashionistas!
I've spent the last few weeks evolving into what I think will be a wonderful and diverse 2015.
I continue to blog. I believe they will taper off in numbers. Can you believe as of 4 December 2014, I've written 1307 blogs?? Each of you who've supported me as followers, viewers, ones who comment and more mean so much to me and the success of my blog.
The reason the numbers of blogs this next year decreases comes from the addition projects I want to explore and take on in 2015.
One thing I have not done much of, but I think I would enjoy very much now and then, is runway work. I absolutely love the print modeling I've done from the beginning and passionately enjoyed the blog modeling I've done. I want to add this third dimension to my fashion experience.
Another thing I have not done much of but would like to do more often is educate. I certainly don't know everything, half of everything or even 1% of everything, but I do know more than I did when I began this journey three years ago. Passing on that information in much the same manner it was shared with me would help me feel like I was completing the circle.
I'm also a huge fan of pay it forward. So many people have helped me, mentored me, encouraged me and I'd very much like to continue to do the same for new friends that cross my path.
Some of my goals include working with the brand new super structure that will be called Miss SL Organization and will break down to include several branches of a business that presents fashion in the most prestigious way possible.
Also, I would like to work with the group that calls themself Fashion Teller because their approach to this shared virtual world entices the fantasy writer in me. Long before I found SL or came to any virtual world, I was a short story writer. To be able to connect in story, photograph and combine the two to expand my voice in the fashion business seems like it would just fit me.
I've never been in a rush to get from A to Z, and actually I enjoy taking long stops between A then B, and so forth. Goals I set may take longer than this next year to accomplish but isn't that the wonder and fun of goal setting. We evolve and adjust them as we grow.
I look forward to bringing my world and yours closer together that we might both smile, both laugh, both love and learn and play, and most of all, both find our worlds enhanced richly by the other's participation in it.
